Could you spend the rest of your life with someone who had horrific taste in music? How important is it to you to share your love of music with a good friend or romantic partner?

While common interests in anything is best for any kind of relationship, I don't see how different taste in music could hinder a relationship (friendship, that is). I don't know about romantic. I would hope to have a romantic partner that enjoys the same genre of music as me, because it would help in the relationship, but at the same time, I would not based the relationship (romantic) solely on music. I am sure that there are other factors that come to play in creating a relationship and hopefully it is those factors that keep the relationship going, regardless of interests and taste.

As for friendships: I can spend my life with anyone, as long as they are open-minded and just accepting. As far as friends are concern, anything goes... after all, we're just friends.
