Travel Log...

With the stupid Daily Writer's Blog continuously asking mind nubbing questions (like... who do you want to be and why?... I only want to be ME. What's so wrong about just being who I am?) I am giving a travel log update.

This weekend, I purchased a small pink duffle bag for my trip to San Fran (4 night, 5 days). I decided to go with the small duffle bag because I am not planning on packing an alarming amount of things for this trip. I figure if I keep everything as a carry-on, it would make going through the airport that much easier. If I plan on purchasing any souvenirs, I am going to visit the post office and use a "flat rate" box to mail it back to me, instead of bringing it on the plane. With Airlines being stingy about luggage and all of that, I find it would be easier to travel light and mail my items back than lug around Cali with sooo much weight. I will test this and see if I can get it to work.

I am currently less than 10 days away from lift off.

considering how many things get stolen out of checked luggage, as well as the complications that arise when one loses luggage or is delayed by luggage, carry on is the only way I'll travel these days. I might have to find a laundromat, or the generosity of the friend I'm staying with, but I've travelled for a month with a purse and an international size rolly bag (or duffle, though rolly has been the newest addition). Good call with the mailing souvenirs back too, I never would have thought about that!

Thanks love!! I was thinking of purchasing clothes and using laundromats as well. I really don't want to be lugged down with luggage. I am always curious about using laundromats in foreign countries too. I bet you can meet a variety of people there.

Anyway... T-8 more days... can't wait. Take care.
