気持ち: drained drained
音楽: GET CRAZY! ~Princess Princess

With only a few more weeks left of school, I am becoming more and more drained. I had to rearrange my apartment a little just to accommodate my study habits. For the majority of the semester I was good about studying in the living room, but recently, I have been doing nothing but sleeping in the living room, so I decided to move my study area back in the main bedroom, which I never use for anything anyway. Last night, I was able to study, so I was content, i just hope that I can continue with this study momentum for the next two weeks as I have papers due left and right.

On a good note, tomorrow i am going to watch the Hawaii Theatre of Youth's production of Little Red Riding Hood. I hope that will be relaxing (aside from the fact that I will be with 20 little students. The only problem I have with this is my advisor is being a really pain. (This is where is gets confusing). I told him that I am going to miss seminar for the field trip and he acts as if there is nothing he can do about it, but the shoots an email to everyone stating that if they are absent from seminar, it would affect their grade (yadda yadda yadda). Here's the double standard on that: This is a Grad program, Are grades really that relevant?? Grad school, from what i gather from my experience, is not about grads, it's about bettering yourself for your field and doing research about your profession. So, why would grades matter?? Anyway, I have decided that if my grade is lowered more than a B, based on attendance, then I would seriously complain about the reasons for it. I do not feel it fair to lower my grade when I am going on a field trip that is related to what I am teaching in school!!!

Okay, I will stop here for now.

Up coming events:
Tuesday: HTY
Thursday: Ice palace with the JPOs
Friday: Subbing in Kindergarten
Saturday: Another movie!! Which one??? Hmmmm (anyone care to join me??)
Next Week: Dance class!!!

OMG!! I hope you enjoy 'LITTLE RED RIDDING HOOD' tomorrow. My friend is in that play (Little Red Ridding Hood).

Anyway, I hope that you missing your seminar tomorrow won't affect your grade. That's so absurd of your prof to even say such a thing. Since when do profs really care about attendance (especially at UHM)?? ~L~ Reminds me of the days when I had to do my SENIOR THESIS for my BA ... We don't really HAVE to show up for class since there is no instruction, but only group discussion toward our thesis. I saw no relevance in attending when I had other important things to do (not saying that its not important ... but yanno what I mean). Anyway, I hope it doesn't affect your grade drastically ... *HUGS*

No, if anything it will lower it to a B, but that is not the point. To put a criteria on attendance and then have all these other requirements, as well as being single, living alone, without a family or any other financial, and emotinal support, makes GRAD school really difficult at times!!

I've heard it's bad to watch tv where you sleep. Because you're more likely to stay up later when you're trying to sleep. And there's something else you aren't supposed to do in the same place you sleep. I can't remember though.. I think studying would make one tired, so that wouldn't really matter. yeah, I've just realized I've babbled quite a bit. sorry. Good luck with the papers.
