Rain Rain..Go Away....

Why is it when I decide to wash clothes, or when I NEED to wash clothes, I get bombarded by heavy rains? For 3 week-ends in a row, I have had rain stop me from doing laundry. I sit with a 3-day school week and barely any clothes to wear. Yesterday, my island was issued a "severe Flash Flood" warning and the results of said warning?? I got to spend the whole day locked in my apartment while water fell continuously from the grey clouds. UGH.

Life has been interesting..... Ok, I lied. It's just the same ole poo-poo on different days. Really. I wish I had something exciting to report. You know, something like...

Dear bloggers,

Today, you will never believe it. I went down to the beach today, which I normally don't do, honestly (in fact, I hate the beach, to be honest. Only go if I am invited) and while there I saw the most amazing thing! I was sitting on the sand, cooking like chicken on a flaming grill, admiring all the surfers weaving in and out of the waves. It was quite the sight, to be honest. I wish I could do a quarter of the moves they were pulling. They were soaring high above the waves as if in an anti-gravity chamber. Fearless is the only word that comes to mind while watching the acrobatic approach to surfing.

As I was watching this unbelievable display of pure X-treme sportsmanship, I notice something not quite right. Off in the distance of the surfer appeared what looked like "sticks" poking in and out of the water. I thought I was just seeing things at first, but as time went on, the sticks were coming closer and closer to where the surfers were showboating. Terror raced down my spine like a frigid brush of paint. It was at that moment I realized that they were not sticks in the water, but sharks! A whole herd of sharks racing towards the surfers. I was not the only person who witness this silent danger of the ocean. As I glanced around the beach, people were rising to their feet and rushing to the edge of the water.

"SHARKS!!!" people began to scream at the surfers. However, in spite their best effort to call the surfers back to shore, the surfers continue to ride the waves, oblivious to the predators that lingered in the waters below them. It was only a matter of seconds before the first shark would make its first kill. Life gaurds were already entering the ocean, in attempt to either scare the sharks away or save the surfers from their soon to be inevitable fate.

I was frozen. I stood there like a statue being made to witness the horrors of the deep without any means to move. Could this really be happening? I came to understand that sharks would not harm humans, but here were a herd of them just ready to make a small group of surfers their lunch (or dinner?).

What would become of them?

Well, my fellow bloggers.... I think I shall tell you how this ends tomorrow (or later next week).

And that is my week... for now.

I really don't have any plans for Thanks-giving day. I went to a friends last year, not sure what will happen this year. Not really interested in going anywhere either. May just go to some restaurant and dine.... ALONE (shiku-shiku).

Until I write again, Take care everyone.

"could" being the key word in that sentence.

I wish it were.... Anyway, it's to be continued. Find out what happens next post.

Ok maybe I'm missing something raelly obvious, but why is rain stopping you from doing your laundry? Is it cause you go to a laundromat kinda thing and you don't want to get it wet in the basket? If so may I sugget using a garbage bag? I used to do that. Thankfully now I got laundry in the building. Of course it's down a few floors and the room is rather disgursting, but it's in the building lol.

I have a washer and I hang my clothes to dry. That's what's stopping me. When I walk out to hang my clothes, rain senses it and starts to fall. Ugh.

Laundromat is way too far to "carry" my clothes to (I don't have a car anymore). so I am stuck with my little washer (which may need replacement soon). Life is fun. Tee hee.

Sometimes you make me so miserable. You know people who are your friends don't mind hearing about you at all, even if you did go out to a restaurant and eat by yourself. If we're here to be a part of your journal, we want to hear about you! It doesn't have to be gut wrenching or spine tingling, it just has to be you.

I have a friend on lj that I love to read their entries. Know why? They just talk about themselves, what they had to eat...if they bought anything they provided pictures. Pictures of the outfit they wore for the day. They make really long entries about what they did in the day and it really isn't all that extravagant but it's interesting because the writer is upbeat and has a want to inform us. It's almost like visiting a friend for a day when they tell you how it went.

It's good to hear from you anyhow :)

Wow. That would be scary. I'm anxious to hear what happened.

Since I've been away awhile...I'm sorry to hear about your PFG and your depression. I hope things perk up for you despite the holidays approaching. I know that's a difficult time for a lot of people.
