Welcome fellow bloggers...

I have to admit that I am doing really well with updating weekly. I am slowly getting into the routine of making Sundays a "reflective day for myself, as usually there is nothing to do on Sundays. Not too much to share this week though. I had a pretty ok week. On Thursday I found out just how dependent the school is on computers. The internet went out and it was chaotic for everyone, especially the tech coordinator. I spent 40 minutes in the morning trying to fix what the problem was, but there was nothing I could do. The end result...I started the day pretty bad. I told my students about the rough start and they were both understanding and helpful about it in the morning.

Speaking about my students. I am really proud about how much ownership they have in the room. They are doing a wonderful job keeping the room clean and helping out with practically everything needed in the classroom. Kudos to them! That's what makes teaching enjoyable, watching your students work on procedures in the classroom without stopping every minute to tell them what they are supposed to do.

I recently purchased "Doctor Who" first and second series. "Doctor Who" has been one of my favorite sci-fi shows ever! And I found out that it is also the longest running show in TV history! That...is awesome! David Tennant, who is now playing the Doctor, is a brillant actor. I really enjoy him as the Doctor too. Sadly, I have not been watching it too much as I did give up watching TV. There was just the period of time where I was fortunate to catch a glimpse or two of the new Doctor and then I was excited to find that DW was still running. So, with part of the $2Gs that I inherited recently, I decided to treat myself to some DW DVDs.

Films:

As much as I would love to go see the upcoming "Horror-fest" I don't think that I am going to have 1)time and 2) money (hey, DW was expensive!)

I did, however made for my weekly film watching. I saw, "Why Did I Get Married" and "Saw 4" I enjoyed both films and would love to hear your comments and/or thoughts about them Post away, mates!

Well, that's about it for now. Nothing really BIG, but I am still content with the way things are going.
Cheers!

Ugh I totally want to go see Saw 4 with Jackie but we have to coordinate it so my sister watches Max for us. So it will probably be next Sunday when we see it =]
