The perfect mate....

Okay, so I am sitting at a friend's house playing a pretty good game of cribbage, when my friend looks dead at me and with an ever so serious face eclaims in pure excitement, "I know who you would be perfect with!" Bewildered, but yet, curious, I begin to gather information on said potential mate.

Well, I don't know if it will work out between me and her, then again after many many years of failed relationships and unsuccesful attemps of dating (including internet), I am thinking, that my friend's attempt will equal the same results. But, what have I really got to lose?? How to lose something when there is really nothing at stake. So, like a little boy suddenly alone in a giant mall, I am wonderstruck. Though I do not have my hopes up at all, there, in itself, does remain the possibility of the opposite happening as well. I mean, maybe she falls for me? Who knows, right.

So, living in the great wonderful age of communication and information, being the clever little cyber-sleuth that I am, I swiftly slide on the internet. The first "real" database I hit....Myspace. After a few clicks of a mouse and correlating the knowledge from my friend, I find her.

For starters, intriguing. She "looks" nothing like I had pictured. When you live in fast food heaven, a place where there is a fast food restaurant for miles to go, you can image the shape of people. I have nothing against people whose body mass is greater than mine, or greater than healthy standards, but it is difficult for me to cope with the whole diet factor. So, my greatest fear about her was relieved.

But the mystery still remains. Will she be interested in meeting me? While I sense that the anwer is quite simple and easy to understand, there is, as always, the possibility of the opposite. Chance does exist. It always does.

Well, we will observe the outcomes of the audatious shceme, with days to come.
