How do you think online dating has changed the way people meet and form relationships? Do you think it's increased or diminished the superficial emphasis placed on looks and financial status?

Yes!! By all means, I do. Dating is stressful enough, and that is why I literally have dropped out of the game. I am tired of being reject both off and online. Currently, I think more people are opted to "date online." Not saying that it's wrong, I mean, it is a means to finding someone to make you happy, so I condone it. As for looks...

No that has not changed. Whether online or offline... people still put much emphasis on looks. Online dating may allow a couple to get to know each other's thoughts because one needs to converse in a more literate setting. But overall, upon actually meeting and even with pictures posted on date sites, I think people continue to be judgmental on looks and I base that opinion off of my own experience.

Ooo, wow, thanks... Of course that is a pure empirically based opinion too. Take care!
