Tonight, I enjoyed:

A pasta dinner that I created at the spur moment of "I want something good to eat." Sorry, no pictures, but it was delicious (Although, I totally gotta start watching the carbs...=( ).

A glass (ok, two) of white wine, which completely complemented my dinner... Yay for that.

And Sophie Kinsella!

I read her latest book (just found out it's her latest) titled, "Remember Me." Presently, I sit halfway into the novel. The goal, to finish the book before Saturday. I intend to purchase the "Shopaholic" series next. Kinsella had captured my heart ~♥

Cheers!

Thanks... all I did was briefly stir fry some spaghetti noodles; added some bacon, herbs, and other seasonings; add the sauce; sprinkled some cheese; and Voila... dinner.

It came out better than I thought it would. I was impressed with it myself (now watch me wake up sick or something, lol). However, I didn't want a ton of meat. I am not that carnivorous. So, 3 slices of bacon was perfect. Might just have a light salad for breakfast now.

Kinsella, if your not familiar, is a (what I just discovered) Chick-lit writer. As a "man" I am slightly embarrassed about it being "chick-lit," but then again, this is ME we're talking about. And I am quite comfortable with being a feminine heterosexual male. Just "don't make me hungry... you wouldn't like me when I'm hungry."
(Incredible Hulk with Edward Norton... in case you don't catch the reference).

What book did you finish reading?

It was a Warhammer 40k novel: The Dawn of War Omnibus, very guud :). I think it was like 3 books in one, very thick o.O.

Ahh, I read the first Shopaholic in one day!! LOL I just couldn't put it down! The sequel was fun too, but I can't bring myself to read the 3rd and 4th because my heart beat too fast, I couldn't take it. XD
I've heard bad things about the upcoming movie, so I don't know if I'll see it.
But yay for chick-lit!!

Msg me your mail address and I'll pen you a letter! ^^

Ok, see, this is why me checking email before going to bed is like totally bad! BAD BAD BAD. Yesh, I love chick-lit. Seriously. I think I am one of very few men who can say that and be confident about it. Kinsella's new book is outrageous! I love her writing. I think the main reason why I love it so much is that it's very similar to my style of writing. Curse us Ox people and our stubbornness to change, Ha!

On a different note... thanks for the heads up on the film. I guess I won't go to see it after all. I want to read the book and from my experience, if I read a book prior to viewing the film, I don't enjoy the film at all. So, I shall just be content with the book and pass on the film. You are the greatest... I am so glad to friend you, *hugs*.

PS: Since you're a major fan of chlck-lit, and like Kinsella, please do offer so recommendations of books. I would like to read more and now that I have finally found a genre I can sit and read, I would like to acquire more...(then again, I should have noticed this before. I bought a lot of chick-lit when I was in Japan. The difference? it was Japanese Authors, written in Japanese!).
